Let’s Begin

Three Things about Me:

1.) I want to work with PTSD veterans. I have a huge heart and passion for them. 2.) Even though I am the oldest of six girls, I cannot braid hair….. 3.) I love mac n cheese. Best meal ever!

Ariana’s Questions:

1.) Fun Question: Have you ever made the winning strike on a pinata?

Um….I probably did when I was young but I honestly cannot remember if I ever have or not…..πŸ˜¬πŸ˜‚

2.) What’s your favorite weather?

High 70s, sunny, and not humid!

3.) Backpack or purse?

It depends on my mood and the situation. It really depends on my mood honestly. Sometimes I prefer a backpack because it is bigger and can hold more stuff then other times a purse is better because it’s smaller and more convenient.

4.) How do you pursue things? (Goal, progress, encouragement from others, etc.)

It depends on the things. Usually I pursue things that I am passionate about with a go getter attitude. I do not stop until I am finished with it. I usually have to make myself goals because I am a huge procrastinator. However, God has been teaching me to do everything unto Him so that’s been helpful.

5.) If you could live in any country, where would you live?

I don’t think I want to live in another country….I would love to visit other countries but I am quite content with living in America. I don’t other countries would want me in their countries. I am too patriotic to live in another country…..xD

(It cannot be the Bible or a book from the Bible! πŸ˜‰) 3.) Who is someone you look up to? 4.) What is a song you have had on repeat? 5.) How many books are on your TBR?

  1. Aww, I think you would be so amazing working with veterans with PTSD. 😍 What kind of work do you have in mind?
I’m just going to answer your questions here to keep tags from stacking up. πŸ˜‰
    1. I am So. Bad. In the Kitchen. Once when my parents were gone for the weekend and I was taking care of my siblings, I tried to make a toaster strudel in the microwave and caught the strudel on fire.
    2. Ooh, yikes! Probably the Farm Mystery books or the Little House series.
    3. My dad. πŸ’•
    4. β€œThe Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” by Justin Moore. 😒 Not sure why I’ve been trying to make myself cry, but that was like the only song I listened to all day yesterday.
    5. Way, way too many…I haven’t counted. πŸ˜†

    1. Aww, thank you! I am thinking of volunteering at my local VA hospital for now and seeing if that is really want God wants me to do.

I love your answers! I am the same way in the kitchen, lol. I’ve gotten a bit better but I am not a chief. That song is so sad!! I always tear up during it! I do the same thing so don’t worry you’re not alone! πŸ˜‰

  2. -groans- Mac and Cheese…that is an amazing meal, and my brother makes the best mac and cheese anyone we know has ever eaten, so I can especially appreciate the meal…but cheese makes me sick, so it comes at a sacrifice 😦

So, honestly, my blog wouldn’t tolerate my actually fulfilling this blog tag (which, btw, adding, “And You!” is more like tagging the universe, which is more than 20 people), but I really do want to answer these questions. I love answering questions! (If I happen to not know the answer, it just makes it more fun lol)

    1) I’m actually not a master chef, yet I’ve only ever had one fail (mostly because I’m a stickler for following the recipe). Once my mom had to go somewhere last-second and we were making food for a Bible study, so she had me take over the mac and cheese. I added too much salt. (Hey, how was I supposed to taste it?! Read the first paragraph of this comment!)

    2) I have to admit, even if the Bible was allowed, it wouldn’t be it…I still haven’t read through the whole Bible πŸ˜› The book I’ve reread the most is “The False Prince” by Jennifer A. Neilson. It’s an “Okay Book” for a long time on your first read, but once you read the ending, the entire book has SO MUCH reread value! πŸ˜€

    3) Well, that’s a hard one. Most of the people I look up to vanish off the face of the planet or figuratively backstab me. Needless to say, I don’t choose role models very well xD Probably my dad, though. He’s super reliable, unlike my other role models

    4) “House Wren” by Owl City, one of my favorite free-spirited songs

    5) If you had asked me yesterday, I’d have said “3”. Well, no longer! I discovered I’ve only read half the books this one author (Wayne Thomas Batson) published, and since I really like him, I added all of those books to my TBR list. Ironically…well…my library doesn’t have any of those books :/ It literally has all the books I’ve read by him and none of the ones I haven’t, much like the library I was next to when I lived in South Carolina

      1. Lol This goes to support my theory that teenagers are nature’s loophole finders πŸ˜€

I wonder if it’s just part of culture nowadays or if God actually designed teenage minds to work that way xD
