What do you do when your knight in shining armor lives, literally, in a different world?

Most American teenagers want a vacation in Italy, but the Betarrini sisters have spent every summer of their lives among the romantic hills with their archaelogist parents. Stuck among the rubble of the medieval castles in rural Tuscany, on yet another hot, dusty archaeological site, Gabi and Lia are bored out of their minds…until Gabi places her hand atop a handprint in an ancient tomb and finds herself in fourteenth-century Italy. And worse yet, in the middle of a fierce battle between knights of two opposing forces.

Suddenly Gabi’s summer in Italy is much, much more interesting.

My Review

This book was amazing. Though, I probably did not enjoy it as much reading it a second time, it still was a pretty darn good book. Everything had me on the edge of my seat reading. I finished this book at 1am because it was so good…I know I’m crazy, lol. But that’s just how good it is.

The characters are dolls and I cannot wait to see Lia and Luca grow as characters next book. Machello and Gabriella were darling characters that I enjoyed seeing their character development and I believe they grow even more as characters in the books to come, which I love. Gabriella, I related to on a bunch of levels, though I’m not sure I’m as kick butt as she is. There were a few things about her that reminded me of myself.

The plot…oh my word! I love this plot so much! I honestly wish we saw this more in Christian Fiction. Can we make petitions to start writing more books with this sort of plot?!? I love time travel romances, they’re fantabulous!

I will definitely be reading book 2 as soon as I rest my body from book 1…I love re-reading books. It’s so much fun!
