How far would you go to protect those you love?
Kade can’t catch a break. After a botched retrieval and another brutal encounter with Numachi warriors, he’s supposed to be relaxing at a peaceful retreat with his sister, Meg.
Instead, he and the rest of his Stormer Unit are forced to defend their Captain and his family from bandits intent on destroying everyone and everything Kade loves.
After a rocky start, Hadley is still finding her feet as an honorary Stormer. The last thing she needs is to be caught up in a case of mistaken identity. But she’s prepared to do whatever it takes to leverage help to locate her brother.
Even if it means leaving Kade when he needs her the most.
These books keep on getting better and better. I have fallen more in love with these characters too!! One thing though: SARAH WILL YOU PLEASE STOP LEAVING ME WITH CLIFF HANGERS!?!??! *sobs* I need the third book right now.
This book was such an enjoyable read. I loved getting to know Cester and Meg more . They are awesome characters. I honestly have no words to describe my love for these books!
All I know is that I need these books to be longer and for book 3 to come out soon or else I will go crazy!!!!
*I received this book as an arc from author, I was not required to have a positive review*
If you want to read my review on the first book, you can find it here. As I mentioned above, I honestly cannot wait to read the third book! I’m getting excited just thinking about how amazing it has to be!! 😃
Also can we all just take a minute and gaze at this beautiful cover? Literally, Sarah’s covers are the prettiest!! 😍
